1. Thank you for opening your home and your heart to this amazing breed. The Bull Terrier Rescue Club of Southwest Florida (hereafter known as the BTRCSWF) and its Officers and Members shall not be held responsible for any damage or injury to any person or property caused by the Bull Terrier while in your temporary care. Temporary care refers to the Bull Terrier residing in a private home, where the foster family provides love, companionship and shelter until a permanent home has been found. The BTRCSWF has explained the animal’s behavior and medical history to the foster family to the best of their knowledge. The foster family agrees to accept the Bull Terrier into his/her care and agrees to release and hold harmless the BTRCSWF from all liability in connection with fostering.

2. The foster family providing temporary care for the Bull Terrier does not legally own the animal.

3. The foster family agrees to provide the Bull Terrier with appropriate food and water while the dog is in temporary care and follows the guidelines attached to this agreement. The BTRCSWF, after approval, will reimburse medical or miscellaneous expenses. Unless it is an emergency, all expenses should be approved prior to medical treatment. Expenses must be accompanied by the original receipts and submitted to Joan Spangler, Treasurer, 10533 Tupper Cay Drive, San Antonio, FL 33525, for reimbursement.

4. The foster family agrees to care for the Bull Terrier in a responsible manner by feeding nutritious food, providing shelter, and medical care (if needed). The Bull Terrier should be walked on a leash or allowed to use a secure, dog proof fenced in back yard. The foster family should also provide a safe and clean environment inside and outside the home. BTRCSWF will supply the foster family with food, support and any assistance they need while fostering a rescued Bull Terrier.

5. The foster family has the right to terminate the temporary care arrangement at any time; he/she shall notify the BTRCSWF Rescue Coordinator by telephone 48 hours in advance (239 848 0450)

6. BTRCSWF has the right to request that the Bull Terrier be returned to the rescue when a forever home has been established.
